Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with an easy to make shamrock-shaped matcha bread using just 7 basic ingredients. A delicious and beautiful bread to add to the festive food and traditions.
Place all the ingredients into the mixer and mix for 6 – 8 minutes till dough is smooth.
Place the dough into an oiled bowl, cover with cling wrap or damp cloth.
Let it rest for 5 minutes at room temperature.
SHAPING
Divide the dough into 12 pieces of approximately 40g each.
Shape each dough into a heart shape or 2 tear drop shapes.
Place 3 of these together to form a shamrock.
Divide the remaining dough into 4 pieces of approximately 17g each.
Shape each dough into a stem and place it with the shamrock dough above.
Cover the dough and let it rest for 90 minutes in a warm temperature.
BAKING
Preheat oven at 160˚C.
Bake for 15 minutes at 160˚C.
Brush a layer of sugar wash after baking.
Let it cool before serving.
